We are in search of a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team in Orange, California. However, this job can be remote, so long as the attorney lives and is barred in California.
Workers' Compensation Attorneys who come from the applicant side are welcome to apply!
This firm is growing fast, and the managing partner wants to add to the team to ensure the existing attorneys are not overworked.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct approximately two depositions per week, utilizing provided outlines
• Represent clients before the appeals board, advocating for their rights and interests
• Manage client communications effectively, ensuring clear and timely responses
• Handle minimal writing tasks as part of case management
• Assist in reviewing and preparing workers' compensation case files
• Stay updated on changes and developments in workers' compensation law.

Requirements:
• Must hold a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney (either defense or plaintiff side)
• Demonstrated experience in handling workers' compensation cases.
• Experience in conducting depositions is required.
• Must be a licensed in CA and live in CA as well (preference will be given to SoCal, ideally Orange County).
